Russian President Vladimir Putin as a young man living in Saint Petersburg learned a valuable lesson. A corned rat fights back --to the death despite the odds or size of the fight. Putin's muted response to Finland's announced intention to join NATO should not be underestimated.

Russia's military lost the Battle for Kyiv and launched an offensive to capture the Donbas region. However, Russian forces have all but stalled. Mariupol and the Ukrainian Marines still hold the Azovstal Steel Plant frustrating Russian forces.

Putin is seething with rage: stalled offensive lines, hundreds of tanks lost, an estimated 15,000 Russian soldiers lost, and several naval vessels damaged or sunk. Finland's announcement, mounting losses, Western leaders visiting Kyiv in support of Ukraine, and Western supplied weapons decimating Putin's army equals a corned rat.

Before Putin unleashes tactical nuclear weapons --might he unleash cyberwar?
